Darren became interested in art work during the time he spent with 'Combat Stress'.
He was motivated to 'pick up a brush' by the staff in the OT department. He was later inspired by the late Bob Ross and learned
so much from his style and techniques. Darren states that "he personally found Bob Ross's teaching methods and painting techniques
the easiest to learn from, I now feel confident to explore my own style when painting".
"My partner Tracey and the staff at Combat stress have encouraged me to use
art as an outlet of expression and self-worth. The staff there are fantastic and dedicate their time to veterans like myself,
special thanks to Carole, Kay and Lynn".
